This course will introduce students to the skills needed in graphic design. Students will be exposed to photography, scanning, the elements and principles of design, effective thumb-nailing and typography.

17073 – Graphic Design & Photography

Grades 11-12 – 1 Credit
Prerequisite – Introduction to Graphic Arts
Delivery – Online

This course will build on the skills needed in graphic design and introduce students to career opportunities, college and training opportunities for graphic designers. Students will receive more advanced training in the following Adobe Software: InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
